Shifts can vary due to business volumes and can be scheduled anytime during regular operating hours: Monday to Friday 6:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Occasional weekends due to special events.

Note: This position will be located at 130 Dundas Street, London, Ontario.

Note: This is a regular part-time Support position (up to 24 hours per week). Part-time Support Staff employees, as defined by the part-time Support Staff Collective Agreement, will be given first consideration.

Duties: Under the supervision of the Restaurant Manager, the incumbent is responsible for food service at the Chef’s Table, including special events. Utilizing the guidelines established by the Restaurant Manager, the incumbent will support student learning in accordance with prescribed College and local health and safety practice. The incumbent ensures the ongoing care and maintenance of equipment and budget guidelines and will support student learning with feedback on students using established materials.
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary 2-year diploma in Hospitality, Food and Beverage or Culinary Management
  • Minimum 3 years’ work experience in fine dining restaurants with demonstrated exceptional customer service skills
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered; preference will be given to applicants meeting the education requirements
  • Red Seal certification preferred
  • Smart Serve certification required
  • Current Safe Food Handling certification required
  • First Aid certification preferred
  • Excellent human relations, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with the ability to direct students
