Note: This is a Sessional faculty position starting September 3, 2024 and ending June 13, 2025.

Reporting to the Director, Online and Blended Learning, the incumbent will work as the lead eLearning Curriculum Consultant (Seconded) in the newly established Rapid Design Studio collaborating with academic managers, program managers, instructional designers, educational support technologies, faculty and other College staff to support eLearning in web-enhanced, blended on online courses across the College. This position will be involved in a variety of activities including FOL course design, digital learning object production, FOL course review, faculty mentoring and coaching, Quality Matters implementation, project management and special projects that support quality assurance for FOL course design and delivery.

  • Related industry work experience
  • Previous post-secondary teaching experience (hybrid and/or online delivery) and knowledge of curriculum design and student evaluations are assets


  • M.Ed. in Instructional Design, Educational Technology or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in instructional design and online learning preferred
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered; preference will be given to applicants meeting the education requirements
  • Classroom teaching experience required
  • Knowledge of UDL principles, EDI and curriculum development an asset

Salary: Determination of starting salaries is based on relevant teaching/occupational experience and relevant formal qualifications, supported with original transcripts from granting institutions. The salary scale is $73,079 to $126,689 along with a comprehensive benefit package.
